Post-Surgical Recovery Program

You have had surgery. Now you need a plan — not just a series of appointments.

Post-Surgical Recovery Program

What It Is:

A phased, milestone-based rehabilitation program from early post-operative care through to full return to activity. Built around what was done surgically and what the healing trajectory requires — not a generic post-surgical template.

Who It Is For:

  • Total knee and hip replacement
  • ACL reconstruction and knee surgery
  • Rotator cuff repair and shoulder reconstruction
  • Spinal surgery rehabilitation
  • Any orthopaedic post-operative recovery

How it unfolds

01

Surgeon-guided early rehabilitation

we work directly from your surgeon's post-operative protocol, adapting it to your baseline, your body, and your recovery environment. Protection, swelling control, and early mobility are built around what your surgeon has specified — not a generic starting point.

02

Tissue healing and personalised mobility restoration

range of movement and early loading progressed in line with surgical healing timelines, your occupational demands, and your daily lifestyle. A teacher returns to standing differently than an office worker. A tradesperson has different load requirements than a retiree. Your program reflects that.

03

Functional rehabilitation tailored to your life

strength, movement quality, and functional capacity built around what you actually need to return to. Your job, your sport, your daily routine, and your post-surgical goals are the benchmarks — not a standard milestone checklist.

04

Full return to activity

defined by your goals, not a calendar. Whether that means returning to manual work, recreational sport, or simply moving through daily life without limitation, the endpoint is yours. Long-term durability is built in from the start.

How Post-Surgical Recovery Program works

How it Works

How The Cycle Works

Recovery is not always linear. Most patients move through Phases 1–4 progressively — but when symptoms plateau or temporarily increase, the program cycles back to reassessment rather than continuing blindly. Each cycle, the clinical picture is clearer, the baseline is higher, and the adjustments are more precise. A plateau is not a setback. It is a signal to reassess and recalibrate.

What Makes It Different:

We liaise with your surgeon and GP throughout. Every phase milestone is clinically determined — you progress when the evidence supports it, not when a calendar says so. Between sessions, your program is monitored and adjusted continuously.

Outcome:

Full return to activity, strength exceeding pre-surgical baseline, and confidence in your body's capacity.
